just came back from bangkok! sigh... I swear that bkk's air/food/water is really bad! everytime i go there, i'll come back with major zits!! HUGE/UNGLY/ RED and angry looking zits!!!!!
anwiae didn't really buy many things for myself during this trip...
- tailored 2 shirts, 2 skirts
- 3 pairs of heels
- 1 dress
- did mani and pedi
- 1 bag
- hair accessories
- stationaries for ppl
- 1 handphone pouch
thats all for myself.. but for my dearest twinkle, i bought her 20 packets of treats (singapore selling them for 3 for $10 , but i got them at like $1 per pack!!!! haha its made in thailand aniwae and those that i got from thailand were really fresh!!! like manufacturered 1 month ago.. and expiry is next year sept!!), 11 pairs of shoes (she wear hers out really fast) and 4 dresses(which i found out that they were to small for her cos she was overfed by my cousins when we were not ard!!!!!! TIME FOR A DIET!!!
anwiae pls don't take tiger airway cos its using the new budget airport in sg... its really bad... lousy selection of shops... think "hang ten &co" "mini toons" and "cheers"... i know ppl who take value are kinda poor.. but i'm sure we can still afford to get duty free make up.. even the slightly up market ones like MAC or shu umera.... or at least build a link to transport us to T1 or T2!!!! and the most amazing part is... when we arrive back in sg, the link from the plane and check out counter is like more than 300m long, no aircon linkway.. with grills... think zoo.. or ferry terminal! wtf man!! the airport taxes that we pay is even higher than cathay/garuda/thai airways! why are we subjected to such treatments!!
the cool part is there's the automatic check-in, check-out counter.. now u don't have to go through customs... just line up and scan your passport + thumb print (something like the MRT enterence where u tap your card) and u're ready to be put through!! haha.. cool shit rite!!
another interesting part is that we get a taste of what emerging the plane and walkin down the steps of the plane is like!! we always see presidents going down the flight of steps, waking at ppl on the run way!! haha... now i'm a VIP too!! we had the "honor" of walking down the steps and the liberaty to wave (we definately did not.. wait ppl think we crazy) down at ppl "receiving" us (i mean airport attendants). lala.. joyce and me being camera whores must take a picture of the moment that we emerge from the plane... haha... *sorry to those behind us.. we just can't help ourselves*

here's a quick update after a long long while ...
started work like 4 months ago... guess i took quite a while to get used to the idea work work as well as the schedules that i'm put into now.. but here's some stuff that has been happening in my life during the past 4 months
Started work in late june.. got into RS2 and had a disappointing start.. I was assigned to do internal audit (our department offers 2 services -- IA and ERM) instead of ERM. Damn sian cos the ERM team is obviously the fun team!!! first job was on NOL, we call it POM (policies operating manual).. and i've been poming since then!!!
its like WTF!! the whole pom thingy was supposed to end like in sept.. and its close to NOV!! sigh.. last i heard, the project will last till jan!! imagine i'll have to do POM for another 2-3 months?!?! *faint*
well.. at least on a whole, my department is fun! we have monthly drinking sessions (fully paid by our partners) , most of us attend company function like sports day and welcome nite (bloody shit! i kanna sabo on stage and promptly fell in front of everybody!! but who cares! i won 2nd prize leh!!)
mmm.. just think in the line of department retreat with plenty of booze (hard liquor/wine/beer) and a buffet (inclusive of 2 chef, lobster salad and satay roasters)
something i don't really understand is... our usual day start at 9am (even though official time is 8.30), go for 1 hour breakfast (after we set up our lappys), 2 hour lunch (typically we have our main course then drop by "wang jiao" or "mr teh tarik" for drinks) and 1 hour tea (lesser now cos partner complain!!), we end work at abt 6 plus 7, and we can claim all the taxi fares we want!! nice department and fantastic/generous partners aka boss... no hierachy system (seniors and managers behaves as if they're your good friends.. unlike in external audit) u get to report to managers/ partners straight... no office politics... SO, other than the miserable pay (which has constant increment of 400/800 alternate years) why would ppl wanna quit??!?!?!?? its kinda the perfect job for me.. u get to try different industries/functions when u're on different jobs, interact with ppl rather than stare at the computer screen the whole day... U get to decide your schedule/ where to work... etc.. and still the turn over rate is so high!!! we did a quick count today and realised that ever since i stepped in, 13 ppl has tendered their letter and left!!!!!! thats like 13 in 4 months!!
sigh... seeing peers leave the company is the saddest thing on earth... maybe i'm not used to ppl leaving.. thats why it kinda bothers me to see ppl leave.
sad.... (going for a going away session at 6.30pm... 2 more leaving)

I hate my boobs!
Its more of a liability than an asset.. ppl always say "wah.. lucky girl, blessed in the asset department".. well thats definately not true!!!!
- Look damn fat (top heavy) esp when i'm paired with flabby arms
- Its a hassle to look for clothes in singapore, since there's always a risk of popping the top button of a shirt
- Tee shirts look 2 sizes to small and tight...
- I'll look utterly obscene in a relatively low top because of the "valley of fragrance", whereas other girls look great in the same shirt as it doesn't seem that revealing on them...
So, tell me what's so great about having big boobs.. maybe i'll consider downsizing them... hehe..

Words Women Use
- Fine
This is the word women use to end an argument when they are right and
you need to shut up. - Five Minutes
If she is getting dressed, this is half an hour.
Five minutes is only five minutes if you have just been given 5 more
minutes to watch the game before helping around the house. - Nothing
This is the calm before the storm. This means "something" and you
should be on your toes. Arguments that begin with "nothing" usually
end in "fine". - Go Ahead
This is a dare, not permission, DON'T DO IT! - Loud Sigh
Although not actually a word, the loud sigh is often misunderstood by
men. A "Loud Sigh" means she thinks you are an idiot and wonders why
she is wasting her time standing here and arguing with you over
"Nothing". - That's Okay
This is one of the most dangerous statements that woman can make to a
man. "That's Okay" means that she wants to think long and hard before
deciding how and when you will pay for your mistake. - Thanks
This is the least used of all words in the female vocabulary. If a
woman is thanking you. Do not question it, just say you're welcome
and back out of the room slowly.

FISHY FISHYYYYYYYYYYYY... thats what frens that i'm travelling with often teased me abt.. sigh.. I have to admit that i am afraid of fishes.. not that i'm afraid to eat them.. juz that i have a phobia of being close to them.. really dislike the thought of their slimy scales being in contact with my skin... yes.. i do scream in water when a school of fish swim near me.. loud enough for ppl snokelling nearby to hear. In fact according to shawn, i nearly drowned him when a a whole lot of "friendly" fishes insisted on swiming next to me *hey they were really close.. and they weren't scared of ppl.. in fact shawn says my screams attracted them*.. its all the fishes fault!!! i didn't have any choice but climb on shawn's back.. not that it solves anything.. fishes are still happily swarming ard me as if they're enjoying my fear...
well at least i've made ample improvements from the last snokelling trip to redang... lesser fishy fishy.. and i can almost tolerate being with fishes that are huge (eh.. the size of an A4 paper?) without feeling that afraid *proud grin*
had great fun.. water was fantastic.. weather was really great... scenery was wonderful.. ppl there were friendly.. well a thousand complements wouldn't do them justice.. its juz heavenly to be there.. the only complaint would be going for the spa.. paying 60 bucks (sgd mind u) for an over scrubbed back with sand like scrub leaving it as red as lobster that hurts like hell isn't what i call pleasureable spa experience.. so unless somebody tried some resort's spa facilities before, don't be the first one to try it.. it'll probably end up with more harm than good... anwiae here's a picture of the scenic view... juz look at the clouds... sigh.. an absolute heaven!
